Creating Abundance – Law of Vibration

Mindset, Other Cool Stuff, Success

Creating abundance takes change. Last blog, I talked about the Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy. This week we are on to the second law of seven. Yes, seven. There is more to creating abundance than the second law – Law of Vibration. The Law of Vibration is just a part, be it an important part of creating abundance in your life. My last blog was the first of seven blogs to give you a more complete picture of manifesting abundance in your life.

This week, we dive into the Law of Vibration. This law states that everything in the universe from the mountains to the ocean, the chair you’re sitting in, your thoughts are in a constant state of vibration.

Your thoughts are things – they have an energy impulse. They have a measurable vibration. They are the most potent forms of energy. Your thoughts vibrate at the highest level. They are as real as something you hold in your hand except you can’t hold them. This is what makes it hard to grasp. This is why it is so important to pay attention to your most prevailing thoughts.

Your energy will automatically go to where you are placing your attention. I heard the quote once: “Energy flows where attention goes.” I really gave this some thought. Every now and then, I get going down a negative thought pattern, and I have to stop myself and ask is this really where I want my energy going?

“What you think about you bring about.” Mary Kay Ash

The Law of Attraction is a subset of this law. The Law of Attraction states – things that vibrate on similar frequencies, attract one another. So, in essence, what you think about you bring about. Pay attention to what your dominate thoughts are. When my children say something negative or predict a negative outcome, I always ask them, “Do you really want to bring that into your future?” It may come anyway but we do not need to ensure it.

Wayne Dyer wrote a book, “Change Your Thoughts Change Your Life”, which directly deals with this law. Thoughts are things. For me, this was a bit challenging at first. If you can’t hold it, how can it be a thing? There is a level of trust that is important to move into. This is not always easy. Having faith in the unseen. Trusting that is it as it should be.

When I first started looking into these laws about 18 years ago, I found my prevailing thoughts were pretty negative. In order to help me become more aware and catch myself, I wore a rubber band around my wrist. When I caught myself having a negative thought I would snap the rubber band. For a bit, I had some whelps on my wrist. But what I found, is that after a while I was able to catch it and change my thought almost automatically.

Here are three steps to help you start using the law of vibration:

  1. Awareness: Write down your 3 most prevailing thoughts. Be honest with yourself. No one else needs to see it. I can tell you when I first started this, my negative thoughts had a lot to do with self-doubt. It’s pretty powerful to look at this.
  2. Pay attention: It may take putting a rubber band around your wrist to start. Look around and see what is showing up around you. Pay attention to how you feel. If you are not feeling good, pay attention. Ask yourself, “What am I thinking about right now?”
  3. Replace the thought: If what you are thinking about is negative, see if you can replace it with the next best thought. Start small. Don’t try to jump from a thought of being upset, sad, angry etc., to everything is great, I have all that I could ever want. Just find a small positive thought. Focus on something you appreciate. It may be as small as the sun is out or you made your bed today. Then build on it.

Remember practice makes perfect. Be kind to yourself. This isn’t something that happens overnight.

I invite you to embrace the Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy and change your negative thoughts to positive thoughts. Focus on what you want, aligning with the law of vibration/attraction.
