I hope you had a fantastic holiday season and a New Year’s filled with joy. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being part of my community and to catch you up on a few things happening around here.
On a personal note, this last year was a lot! It might also have been for you. A lot of changing and shifting, shedding old patterns, endings, and new beginnings.
As we leave the year of the Snake and welcome in the year of the Fire Horse, you may be feeling the energetic transition of shedding the old and embracing the new. I know I am.
My youngest went off to college in Seattle this past September, officially making Mark and me empty nesters. Although we have seen both Tanner in Bozeman and Taylor so much the last couple of months with drop-offs, parent weekends, fall break, and winter break, the real test will come over the next few months of not seeing either one of them until their spring break.
2025 was a year of many transitions.
It has been great to watch both our kids truly begin their next journeys, and I’m so proud of the amazing human beings they have become. Now they are off on their own journeys and new becomings.
For Mark and me, the house is much quieter and cleaner:).
I am excited about this new transition in our lives and the work I am being called to bring forward.
If you have been with me for a while, you have seen many transitions in my work, particularly over the last few years. Just as the world is changing at an accelerated pace, so too has my work not only to remain relevant but to stay one step ahead, preparing for what is and what is becoming. I have always had a sense that there was something specific that I was supposed to bring in. I also have not known when, but I could feel it getting closer over the years. I have to admit I’ve been a bit impatient and jumped the gun a few times, only to be shown that it’s not yet. There is no fighting divine timing.
Two days after we dropped off Taylor in Seattle, Mark and I took a 3-day side trip to the San Juan Islands for a reset. We had dropped off Tanner in Bozeman in August and Taylor in September. It was official, we are empty nesters.
What I didn’t know was that two days after I dropped off Taylor, Spirit was clear about this next chapter, and that the timing was NOW!
Do you ever have those moments in the shower when the epiphany comes, or an idea, an answer, and the next step shows up for you? I do. That is usually when I stop thinking long enough for Spirit to talk to me. Two of the children’s books I published came to me fully in the shower; many ideas, answers, and next steps come to me that way as well. I have learned to have a notebook and pen always at the ready outside my shower. I have to get it down immediately, or sometimes I don’t remember it all.
That is what happened two days after we officially became empty nesters. The Universe has a great sense of humor. I didn’t even get three full days to rest and reset, let alone celebrate. So, be careful what your heart speaks into the Universe, Trust it.
Spirit gave me the download for what I was being called to bring forward. It was so surprising how, all of a sudden, I could see clearly how all my past experiences have brought me to this point – why I had been in Mary Kay Cosmetics for 20 years, why I had started a coaching business 16 years ago, and why each program, system, and method I have created, used, and taught came into being and informed the movement I’ll be creating this year.
Why it was so important over the last two years to put my intuitive gifts out front, and why I had to take a deep dive into the Divine Feminine. To move from that into the importance of the harmony between the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine, and how important this piece is moving forward.
I had more to clear around things I thought I had already done. Maybe you have too, only to find out, especially this last year, there was some really sticky residue that still needed to be looked at. To be cleared, healed, and transformed before entering this new year.
In all of this, it brought me back to the thread that has woven in and out of everything I do and have resisted. Ugh!! It’s always the thing we are resisting. This was the one thing that is a part of everything I do – LEADERSHIP.
Although not just any Leadership.
Spirit made it very clear that this leadership was different and would infuse a completely different energy into it. Spirit was very clear in their directive.
I have spent the last few months feeling into the energy of what this wants to be, why it’s important, and who is calling for it. Slowly but surely, this co-creation with Spirit has brought forth something I am very excited to share with all of you.
This is a new way of leading, a practice, a process, a Movement.
This is Soul Guided Leadership™ – Changing the Way We Lead
This is not a return to matriarchal or patriarchal leadership. It’s creating a new way forward in harmony with the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine. It’s creating a new way to lead.
Not the command-and-control or positional leadership often found, nor the influential leadership.
This is leadership deeply rooted in knowing and intuition, in partnership with Spirit.
It is integrity, truth, compassion, win-win, cooperation, discussion, taking the best from both sides, and finding the middle that supports the whole.
It’s finding our own gifts and genius and surrounding ourselves with people whose gifts and geniuses are not ours.
Allowing everyone to fully participate in what they are exceptional at to create incredible out-of-the-box solutions that are good for the whole.
It starts with leading yourself – the Inner Leadership, passing it on to your teams, people, and families. Instilling this type of leadership in yourself, businesses, and organizations will change the world.
A world that is powerful, generous, cooperative, successful, and fulfilling for all. A world we can all participate in and thrive.
