First, I want to check in on how you are doing. Are you feeling the pressure, the speed at which things seem to be moving, and the energy of chaos? If you are, you are not alone. I am also feeling all of the above.
We are at a pivotal time. Astrologically, this is a dynamic and volatile time, as 5 personal planets move into Aquarius from Capricorn. We are also moving from the Chinese year of the Wood Snake, which ends on Feb. 16th and is all about shedding what no longer serves. Your old patterns, beliefs, and behaviors. You may be feeling like you have already done this work, and these patterns are coming up again. Showing up one more time so you can get a good look at them and see them in a new way.
This is not easy, and it’s important work to complete before we enter the New Chinese Year of the Fire Horse on 2/17/26. (I have added two links for more information on this in the PS)
For me, this is showing up as unsettledness, with feelings of chaos and frustration at times. It’s also important to observe it without getting too caught up in it. Slow down, breathe, protect your peace and calm. Remember, we co-create our experiences.
We are moving into a period of New Beginnings. Which is really exciting.
It’s important to stay in our Sovereign Choice and what I call our Sovereign Serve. Staying in choice to protect your peace, calm, compassion, love, and joy.
I know you have heard me say this more than a few times, and it’s important here: Energy flows where attention goes. You get more of what you focus on. Be careful where your attention is going.
The Sovereign Serve is a term I use for taking care of yourself first. It’s critical for your own inner alignment. Inner Alignment is the foundational tenet in Soul Guided Leadership™.
Inner alignment is the ability to lead yourself. You cannot lead others to places you are unwilling to go. If you try to, there is a level of inauthenticity baked into your leadership. We don’t build trust by asking people to do what we won’t do ourselves.
Trust, and the ability to lead with values, boundaries, self-care, and growth requires you to… Give to yourself. Receive from yourself. Make yourself a priority. We can’t lead anyone else, or honestly be good for anyone else, if we can’t lead ourselves and, more importantly, be good to ourselves.
The ability to lead ourselves influences everyone around us. Our families, children, neighbors, communities, and the people we work with. Leadership is Influence. Whenever you are in a place to influence, you are leading.
My question for you is, “How are you going to lead yourself and those around you this new year?”
This is a time of great potential.
I’ll be sharing more on this in the weeks to come. Right now, I thought it was important to get the conversation started and you thinking about this.
Truth Bomb: Your ability to lead yourself also correlates to your ability to receive from yourself and others.
I would love your thoughts and to hear how you are moving into this New Year filled with potential.
I also welcome any questions you have, and would love to know which areas you would like me to cover more.
Here are two links on the astrology of the next few weeks if you would like more information. I’m not an astrologer, and Pam Gregory is a woman whom I really like and who has a lot of integrity.
